When GOOD turns to Dissapointment
Posted on January 4th, 2010 No comments“How We Too Often Make Our Good Feelings Turn Into Dissapointment”
It is really easy to do and we so often do it without even noticing. Follow this and see if you are one of these people, even some of the time.
So, you get a good feeling, maybe a gut instinct and you feel like something good is around you or going to happen to you. That’s a nice feeling!
What do you — we — often do?! We LOOK for confirmation. We buy a lottery ticket, start dreaming of what would happen if…. We imagine that NOW is the time our ship will come in etc. etc. Guess what? When those things don’t happen, we get dissapointed, we even get depressd: “how come other people have this or that and I don’t…?” “How come I didn’t win this or gain that?”
Of course, the next thing that happens is… well, the good feelings are gone and we have served only to prove the good feelings false. Not a great reinforcing cycle.
WHAT TO DO?!
As the Beatles said, “let it be”. If you feel good or feel the presence of good, let it be! If you do that, and DON’T look for anything the feeling lasts a long long time.
My oldest daughter said to me at dinner tonight, after I was informing her about some writing I have been doing lately, “Dad, sometimes we weren’t meant to look too hard for things; sometimes we just have to let go and let things happen.” She is right. We then had a good talk about what I have just written for you to read. We had a laugh and then agreed: “Let it be, and good things last so much longer… maybe your whole life long…”

Images, Being, and a Simple List
Powerful Thought; Powerful Actions
Introduction
Let’s take a moment to recap some of the highlights of the journey so far. So far, the idea of consciously developing a positive resonation signature has been presented; the choice to do the work to develop a resonant state, with all its implications, was put forward. Several excellent and logical reasons to develop a resonant state at the frequency of affluence have been given; these provide a foundation for the belief needed to first make an intellectual choice then take action. Questions were designed and presented that have you take note of what you resonate with presently, what you think about most, and to urge you to generally gauge your state. Attention has been given to the understanding and belief that the desire to be and being affluent is both right and natural; further, attention was given to noticing and giving grateful appreciation to any condition of affluence presently in your life. You have been provided with a detailed look at the construction of consciousness with the purpose of diffusing and letting go of ego while simultaneously and purposefully directing conscious thought. This attention to ego and focused thought was provided to establish the best pre-conditions possible as you prepare to make change and take action. The Whole Self was presented with an emphasis on the many benefits of positive inner alignment. In Step Five, you were asked to control conscious thought more and more each day, with greater and greater clarity and focus; continuously directing and redirecting it towards thoughts, states of being, feelings, situations, and internal and external environments that are healthy, of wealth, and create happiness. The first of the Action Tools has been given wherein you were challenged to notice affluence in the world around you, to see how it comes about and for whom; to ask and attempt to answer questions within yourself as to why it comes about, to notice conditions and states of affluence and gratefully appreciate them. Who has health? Where is health; what is its resonant frequency? How is it being brought about? Who has wealth? Where is wealth; what is its resonant frequency? How is it being brought about? Who has happiness? Where is happiness; what is its resonant frequency? How is it being brought about?
To this point, a lot of work has gone into fostering understanding, creating the belief, and designing the thoughts and patterns of thought that will cause you to feel and then become increasingly affluent. In the following section you will take the action of deliberately seeking out and creating specific, detailed, and intensely focused resonant thought that will become central to your consciously directed state of being from now on. You will learn specific techniques to create and experience states of affluence. These states and the images, thoughts, and cues that you develop will become central to your daily life and will become the internal homing device you carry with you everywhere. You will use this internal state as the center from which you will emanate thought and action as you go about daily life. You have been making excellent preparations to this point; it is time to get quite specific. Enjoy.

Counterclockwise
Posted on September 4th, 2009 No commentsScientific American often has great articles about the human mind. The one that I will reference today is again, quite satisfying. You can read it here.
From the article: “Counterclockwise: Mindful Health and the Power of Possibility
by Ellen J. Langer. Random House, 2009
When she was in her 20s, Harvard University psychologist Ellen J. Langer fainted occasionally, and doctors said she might have epilepsy. She decided to take the matter into her own hands, mentally “catching” herself sooner and sooner when she felt faint, until the fainting disappeared. That empowering experience set the tone for her remarkable 30-year career, much of which she has spent figuring out how to help people take almost miraculous control over their lives.”It goes on to explain how test subjects lost weight, gained weight, appeared more youthful, became healthier all as a result of their perspectives in particular situations. An example is given of cleaning staff in some Boston hotels who were told that the work they did every day definitely satisfied the government guidelines for a healthy lifestyle. Guess what?! They started to become more healthy. Then there are the elderly gentlemenwho were ‘taken back in time’ by having them live like they did when they were younger… they became more youthful and healthy — they also gained weight, which was a desirable outcome.
AMAZING.

Liberating Energy from Ego Consciousness

Liberating Energy from Ego Consciousness
There is nothing wrong with thinking consciously. Quite the contrary can be true. Thinking is a potentially wonderful and powerful tool. We must avoid the trap of thought, however. That is the trick. A Gradual Awakening was the first book I read on the topic of self development some twenty two years ago. In it Stephen Levine emphasized that the rational mind is good for collecting and applying knowledge. He said that it is useful for learning, and applying that learning to survival amid the complexities of the world. Further, he explained that while thinking is a good tool and a good servant, it all too often becomes a terrible master. This, sadly, is all too true. A terrible, energy gobbling master! Piercing the Ego Consciousness
Posted on August 6th, 2009 2 commentsSection 25 — The Synergy in Life System
You really really have to read and digest this bit…. It is exceptionally powerful information. Understanding ths construction of ego signals the beginning of a new path.
Piercing the Ego Consciousness
In each of our heads there is an ongoing stream of thought and even a voice that rambles on through nearly every moment of our existence. In doing so, it is creating a resonance, yet most people are wholly unaware of and not in control of the thoughts and so not in control of the frequency; most people are not at all in touch with their resonance, it just happens haphazardly because the stream of thoughts go on without direction. To a great extent this stream of thinking and the emotions associated with it is compulsive, reactive, repetitive, and involuntary – not at all under control – in fact, they are controlling you. Where is my mind?
Posted on July 11th, 2009 1 commentWhere is my mind? If you have ever asked that question, the answer is in the ‘whole self’ as will be explained through this post and through a soon to come video post that provides a diagramatic answer to this important question.
Section 23
The Component Parts of the Whole Self
In the time and space of our present daily existence on this wonderful planet earth, it is the conscious mind that dominates most people; therefore the conscious mind dominates our world. Raw consciousness is a powerful state of being. It is your conscious mind that sought out this book and is engaged with reading it now; it is your conscious mind that you use to plan, think, worry, and prepare dinner…. The conscious mind has an important role in our lives; there are other influences however, other parts of your being that are very important. They are the subconscious mind, the body, and your life-force. Together with the conscious mind, they constitute the four parts of the Whole Self. This chapter will fully explore the relationship and the connectedness each part has to the whole. Through learning about these connections and relationship, you will understand the parts, their roles, and their relationship to one another; then you will know the rules that govern your Whole Self and thereby how to most effectively synergize your state of affluence as a whole person, aligned to a purpose. Tools, techniques, and actions for you to use will be presented.
As a brief aside, we of course know that the human condition cannot in reality be cut into four neat and tidy parts and placed in a diagram to be poked and prodded, each part distinct from the other – the human condition is so very much more complicated than that. But, the human condition can be spoken of and referred to in parts and as a whole and put into diagrams in order to understand and learn. To do this is to suspend reality in order to pierce it. A diagram that represents the Whole Self is appended as the last page of this chapter; you might want to look at it for a moment now. Next, a brief outline of each part of the Whole Self will be provided through the paragraphs immediately below, and a more detailed explanation of each will follow as the chapter progresses.
The conscious mind: a powerhouse that must be harnessed. It is the conscious mind that in most people holds the reins of power in the overall relationship of the parts. It can play a critically positive role, or it can be the maker of misery. The Ego center of its own world, it is capable of considering information from other parts of the whole and can communicate directly with the subconscious, body, and life-force, yet it is independent and aloof in most people.
The subconscious mind: a quiet powerhouse that performs many automatic and autonomic functions; it is also a source of inspiration and creative power. It is also the dutiful servant of the conscious mind. It carries out orders from the conscious through a non-judgmental communication with body and life-force. Its strength can be destructive if it is not directed and well-managed. The subconscious is a powerful tool to be treated with great care.
The body: capable of being a powerhouse, yet too often not. It is a symbiotic mass of vibrating cells in an alliance with the two minds, given life through life-force, living in this time and space. The body is a wonderfully complex temple of beauty capable of great strength and service to the wholeness of being, yet it is easily prone to harsh frequencies coming from an unbridled consciousness and its dutiful servant, the subconscious.
Life-force: the silent pervasive power, it is the essence of love, beauty, acceptance, creation, generative life, desire…. Life-force is the energy of the universe seeking full expression in personal form – it is our spark. It is each person’s connection to the universal life-force and what I will call Universal Consciousness and you may or may not call God. It is our connection to life itself and to the essence of other beings. Please note that when discussing and presenting the concept of life-force, I choose to use the term Universal Consciousness so that I can discuss the concept without delving into religion or philosophy. I do not intend to nor would I diminish the importance of religion, philosophy, or God; I simply wish to keep out of the debate between various religions and philosophies and keep a respectful position concerned solely with your realization of affluence and purpose.

Connections and High Performance
Posted on June 15th, 2009 No commentsYou know about systems of government, circulatory systems, systems of thought, the educational system…. On and on it goes.
When someone or some group maximizes the potential of one or many systems in concert to create amazing results, they are synergizing their systems for high performance.
The Synergy in Life System and the central concepts of GreenSeed Consulting have come to be as a result of my experience, training, observation, and thought in several diverse areas. These are: systems of team play used in sport; systems of thought from both psychology and philosophy; systems of individual human performance from the study of physiology; systems of education; physical and mental systems from martial arts… and systems of management and leadership.
It was the study of systems of management that started me looking closely at the profound connections within and between systems. I knew from experience that all systems have aims or objectives and that creating synergy within and between systems is where high performance is born. When you look at it in a general sense, everyone knows this but just might not use the same vocabulary to explain high performance. For me, it was when I started to study the area of Systems Thinking — interestingly, it has roots in electrical engineering — that the power of finding and creating connections within and between systems began to establish as at first a thought and now as a FACT in my mind.
For example, there are connections between systems of play in sport and the systems of physiological training used with the athletes on a team; they also require systems of thought that are geared to performance… and this requires a vision or a system of philosophy. That same team requires training and learning derived from and brought forth through systems of education…. On it goes. It’s all connected.
How about your group or team? Are there connections within and between systems? How about you? Do you have a system of thought that creates a state of high performance?
What lays at the base of all the systems that exist in our world? What is the connection that underlies all things? Energy. That is a statement of scientific fact. Energy is our one substance. Create a philosophy or psychology that is hopeful and has an aim, and you will create a resonant physiology of health — based on your use of and direction of energy. Create a system of education that is natural, flowing, and in concert with psychology, physiology, social systems tendencies etc. and you will have a recipe for potential high performance because of the use of and direction of energy. Everything is connected in energy, through aims and objectives, and most importantly through our ability to synergize individual and corporate systems to meet those aims and objectives. That’s high performance! This is fascinating.

You are Who You are … Now
Posted on May 30th, 2009 No commentsSection 19 of The Synergy in Life System.
You are Who You are Now – Not Who You Were
No matter what you believe you were, you must understand that you are only who you are right now. Now is the only true reality, and the only moment that actually exists. You are not the story of your past. If you do not like your past and perhaps think you are unworthy of affluence then change your now, as you cannot change your past. You have only NOW to be. You are not your story, your past conditioning, or the past. Read the rest of this entry »

A GREAT Technique for Memorizing lists…
Posted on January 21st, 2009 2 commentsUsing this systematic approach to memory, I was taught at an early age how to memorize lists of things for tests at school. From lists, this technique can be elaborated to just about anything once you get the hang of it. It’s really simple. The trick is in the pictures you create in your mind.
It was many years ago when I first learned this time and effort saving trick. My father took me to this store where the fellow inside was selling tile and carpets. It was a small, successful business, I recall. My dad told me that this fellow was going to teach me and my brother this excellent memorization trick (in those days we didn’t have wii, ipods, more than two tv channels, so this was pretty cool).
